Hoskins first to hit 9 HRs in first 16 games
Rhys Hoskins mashed his ninth home run of the season in the first inning of Friday night’s series opener against the Cubs at Citizens Bank Park. He is the first player since at least 1913 to hit nine homers in his first 16 games, according to Baseball-Reference.
