Rangers erupt after Trout’s OF assist in 9th

Adrian Beltre hit two homers and the Rangers scored three runs in the 10th inning to top the Angels, one inning after Mike Trout’s outfield assist cut down a run at the plate. The Rangers pulled within two games of the second Wild Card spot in the AL, as Robinson Chirinos had a homer and knocked in a big run in the 10th. Luis Valbuena had a three-run homer for the Angels, who are a half-game back of the Twins for the second wild card.
