Velasquez to have season-ending surgery
Vince Velasquez’s disappointing second season with the Phillies officially ended Tuesday. The team announced that Velasquez has been placed on the 60-day disabled list and will have surgery later this week to alleviate a vascular issue with his right middle finger.
