Up 7 after 2 rain delays, Tigers hold off O’s

Ian Kinsler and Justin Upton homered in the first, the Tigers jumped out to a seven-run lead after 2 1/2 innings and two rain delays, and they held on for a 7-5 series-opening win over the Orioles on Thursday night.
