Chacin’s gem helps Padres edge Twins

In a game dominated by starting pitching on each side, the Padres edged the Twins with three late runs. Jose Berrios opened the game with five no-hit innings before allowing a single to Hunter Renfroe to open the sixth. Jhoulys Chacin tossed seven shutout innings for the Padres. Berrios allowed the one run in seven innings in taking the loss. Austin Hedges had a two-run homer in the eighth.
