Source: Astros to acquire Liriano from Toronto

The Astros and Blue Jays have agreed to a deal that would send veteran left-hander Francisco Liriano to Houston, sources told MLB.com’s Jon Paul Morosi and Gregor Chisholm ahead of Monday’s 4 p.m. ET non-waiver Trade Deadline. The clubs have not confirmed the deal. Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi was first to report that a deal had been agreed to, pending the completion of physicals. Liriano will pitch out of the bullpen for the Astros, according to MLB Network Insider Jon Heyman.
