Owings returns to Arizona with broken finger

D-backs infielder Chris Owings broke his right middle finger on a second-inning bunt attempt in the D-backs’ 3-2 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. He was removed from the game immediately and then headed back to Phoenix after the game when the team headed to Chicago for a series with the Cubs.
