Mercer welcomes confident Kang in position battle
Jordy Mercer spent the week at Pirate City, taking the opportunity to get back on the field and shake off some rust while knowing Spring Training is still a month away. He also is preparing to battle Jung-ho Kang for the starting shortstop role.
