Sharks place star centre Joe Thornton on injured list with upper-body ailment

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Sharks have placed centre Joe Thornton on the injured list with an upper-body injury.

The Sharks made the move Sunday. Thornton will miss at least the next two games in Winnipeg and Minnesota the next two night…
