Frieri apologetic, D-backs upset over hit-by-pitch
Some D-backs player were upset, others were sad and others were somewhat understanding, while Pirates reliever Ernesto Frieri was apologetic after learning that Arizona All-Star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt suffered a broken left hand upon getting hit by a Frieri pitch in the ninth inning on Friday night.
