Abu Dhabi stats – Hamilton becomes Britain’s fourth multiple champion

With victory in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, Lewis Hamilton became the first British driver to win multiple world titles since Jackie Stewart in 1969, 1971 and 1973.

Hamilton is the 16th multiple champion in Formula One history and the first Mercedes drivers’ champion since Juan Manuel Fangio
