Giants option Colvin, mull Uggla’s release
Clearing roster room for what could be multiple player moves before Thursday’s Trade Deadline, the Giants optioned outfielder Tyler Colvin to Triple-A Fresno after Wednesday’s 7-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
