N.Y. Giants place Victor Cruz (patellar tendon) on IR

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was officially placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, two days after he suffered a torn patellar tendon in his knee during a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
