Sources: Yanks seek to keep $26M from Ellsbury
The Yankees say Jacoby Ellsbury, who hasn’t played since 2017 and was released Wednesday, saw a doctor without the team’s permission, allowing them to void all guarantees and not pay him the $26 million left on his contract.
