Escobar suffers left knee sprain on play at plate

Rays shortstop Yunel Escobar left Tuesday night’s game against the Red Sox at Fenway Park with a left knee sprain he suffered while trying to score in the third inning. He’s listed as day to day and will undergo an MRI on Wednesday.
