Simon, homers help Reds leave St. Louis with win
Jay Bruce hit two of the Reds’ four homers in a 7-2 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday night at Busch Stadium. Reds starter Alfredo Simon worked his third straight quality start as he allowed two earned runs and seven hits over six innings, with two walks and three strikeouts for his 15th win.
