Anthony Rizzo drove in two on a single and a sac fly, Albert Almora added a pair on a single, and Daniel Murphy, Jason Heyward and David Bote knocked in one apiece. Adam Wainwright yielded four runs in five innings for the Cards, who now face elimination from postseason contention. St. Louis scored twice in the sixth, on a Marcell Ozuna single and a Paul DeJong groundout, and twice in the ninth, following two Cubs errors.
